Routine Dental Exams

WHAT TO EXPECT

As a new patient, the first visit will be a "getting-to-know-you" session.  A thorough dental and medical history will be taken as well as a comprehensive oral exam including dental radiographs and an assessment of oral health.  

A complete examination of the teeth, gums, and soft tissue will be performed including an oral cancer screening.

Dr. Tolliver will then have a one-on-one discussion with you about a personalized treatment plan.  This is also an excellent time to ask questions or express any concerns or fears.

Research has linked oral health to overall health, so it is our goal to restore all-round oral wellness.

Prevention is a key factor in maintaining an incredible smile, which is why these routine exams and proper home care are powerful tools.
